Elektro-Harmonix
EH pedals, for me, are the typical example of great designs in the wrong case and construction. While they are soundwise great some of them becoming classics fully justified there's some things which I don't like:
- The case is usually way too big for the contents.
- The component quality is usually very poor.
- The construction is very rough handwork and requires quite some experience not to cause damage to the PCB traces.
- etc etc.
- And having said that... I really love working on these things because the results can be so great !
